Fryiday Night Prayer and Saterday.
Well the past two days haven’t beet terribly eventful but some things have happened all the same.
Yesterday was all night prayer and that was great as always. gathering together to pray for the world in need and lost without Christ. Standing in the gap so to speak. OK you may be wondering what I mean by all night prayer. At the Organization that I work in every first Friday of the month the whole office gets together and prays from eight in the evening to four in the morning. It may sound daunting to you but it is really a great time of fellowship and obviously prayer.
Well one of my co-worker’s family came down to visit him and that was really to finally meet them. Clayton has a sister who was so much fun to hang out with. She sort of unofficially adopted me for the evening and so wherever I went he went and wherever she went I fallowed. In a strange way after only knowing her for an evening she taught me so much about not judging a book by it’s cover. To take things with no agenda in mind and love on people as if we only had one day to do it. She reminded me of that song by Tim McGraw, Live Like You Were Dying. She reminded me how precious every person is and what smiles one day can bring, and what joy one smile can give. I could see God in her and in short she was an absolute blessing.
Today nothing of consequence really happened other than we slept in:) I was happy to get some extra rest after a week of work. Of corse like any other Saturday we cleaned the house from front to back and boy is it nice to have a clean house. But other than that unless you consider going to Wal*Mart an adventure that was really all for my day.
So now I am sitting here in the study writing to all of you the events of my day. I am also watching Finding Neverland ...I LOVE THIS MOVIE! Well I need to go but I will write more tomorrow. God Bless.

In November! Caroling???

Well as the header states or in bewilderment asks we went caroling in November. It is snowing here in Texas and as it was the first snow we (my roommates and I) went caroling to
some of our neighbors. It was a lot of fun and we took them all by surprise as they weren't expecting a bunch of nuts to come caroling in NOVEMBER! we tend to have these crazy impulse moments where we get an idea into our head and then just go do it. Never anything to crazy or irrational but always fun and spontaneous.
we hade to come home early from work because the leaders didn't want us to get stuck in bad weather and it was icing over very quickly. So sitting in the house with nothing to do we decided to get some fresh air and freeze our toes off but like I said it was fun and nothing to drastic
